| Host / Isotype: Recombinant | Background Information: Neuropilin 1 (NRP1), also known as CD304 or VEGF165R, is a type I transmembrane proteins consisting of a small intracellular cytoplasmic domain, a transmembrane domain and an extracellular domain containing a complement-binding CUB domain (a1/a2), a coagulation factor V/VIII (b1/b2) domain, and a meprin or MAM domain (PMID: 24263240; 11886873). It is expressed on plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs), endothelial cells, thymocytes, regulatory T cells, a subset of T follicular helper cells, neurons, and diverse human solid tumors (PMID: 31944572; 14991591; 18704117). Neuropilin 1 is involved in immunity, cardiovascular development, neuronal guidance, cell migration, angiogenesis and cancer pathogenesis (PMID: 24263240). |
