| Host / Isotype: Polyclonal | Background Information: Fc gamma receptors (FcγRs) are receptors for the Fc region of immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibodies and play important roles in immune responses. Mouse FCGR4, also known as CD16-2 or FcgammaRIV, is the mouse ortholog of primate FcgammaRIII (PMID: 12389094; 16039578; 17558411). FCGR4 is expressed on monocytes, macrophages, and neutrophils, and it binds to IgG2a and IgG2b with intermediate affinity (PMID: 16039578). It also acts as a receptor for the Fc region of immunoglobulin epsilon (IgE) (PMID: 17558411; 18949059). |
