This family has roles in a wide range of biological processes, such as the regulation of circadian rhythm, carcinogenesis and progression of cancer. NONO forms heterodimer with SFPQ, and has been implicated in nuclear retention of A- to I-edited RNA as paraspeckle components, pre-mRAN 3'-end formation, cAMP cycling and transcriptional activation. |
