It is essential for the establishment of DNA methylation patterns during development. DNMT3B contains a C-terminal catalytic domain and an N-terminal regulatory domain, which are involved in targeting chromatin to regulate its function (PMID: 31547729). DNMT3B has 8 isoforms with the molecular mass of 80-96 kDa. |
