| Background Information:TCR alpha (T-cell receptor alpha) is a critical protein subunit of the T-cell receptor (TCR), a complex molecule found on the surface of T lymphocytes that is responsible for recognizing foreign antigens. The most common type of TCR is composed of two different protein chains: an alpha (α) chain and a beta (β) chain. Unlike the beta chain, which uses V, D, and J segments, the alpha chain is assembled through a process called VJ recombination (joining Variable and Joining segments) (PMID: 22649519, 8223443). | Formulation::PBS, Azide7 |
